This field together with the unit field defines the interval between deductions.

Definition
In the Interval field, enter the interval at which the capital formation payment is to be transferred starting from the First payment period.
Use
This interval must always be used in conjunction with the first payment period. The following combinations are possible:
- You enter no 1st period and no interval:
The capital formation payment is processed in each period. - You enter the 1st period and no interval:
The capital formation payment is processed only in the first payment period.
Example:
1st payment period: 12
Interval..........: Blank
The capital formation payment is always processed in period 12. - You specify the 1st period and an interval:
The following payment periods are calculated from the 1st payment period + interval, 2nd payment period + interval, 3rd payment period + interval etc.
Example:
1st payment period: 05
Interval..........: 01
The capital formation payment is processed in periods 05, 06, 07, 08 etc.
Note: In the following year, processing begins with the first payment period.

If you enter a date in the First payment date field, you must also make entries in the Spacing field. If the field Spacing is left blank, the system cannot determine a payment period, and so no payment is made.
