Indicator: Dynamic Reduction
Use
This indicator is set if only a certain IDoc segment is needed for transfer in the change analysis of the assortment list for the material.
If you have selected dynamic reduction, the material is sent for this case in such a way that only the segment affected by the change and its parent segments are contained in the IDoc. If more than one segment is affected by the changes, all the segments are transferred.
Dependencies
When dynamic reduction is used, the material no longer contains all the master data that was originally intended for the transfer. For this reason, no items can be created from an IDoc that only contains dynamically reduced materials. If you use dynamic reduction, you should ideally use the assortment list to create the IDocs. Then you will not be directed to the visual assortment list. The subsystems processing the IDocs must also support processing of dynamically reduced IDocs.
Example
You change the sales price of a material, you have selected dynamic reduction and start the change version of the assortment list. Segment E1WBB01 contains the information "X" in the DYN_REDUC field and segments E1WBB03, E1WBB07 and E1WBB08 appear as subsegments of the material.
