Definition
Any potential target files are deleted before the file is split.
If the file is split according to the number of lines or the number of objects, all the files with the name <source file>.xy mit xy from the interval [01, .. 99] are deleted.
- If the file is split into a fixed number of target files all the specified target files are deleted.
If the flag is not set, an error message is generated, if one of the target files arlready exists.
