Definition
Abbreviated form of the logical register number.
The actual logical register number is shortened here for processing reasons.
You adopt a logical register number from another register by overwriting the logical register number of the register adopting the number with the new logical register number.
A logical register can only be allocated to one register at any one time.
You create a new logical number by deleting the previous logical number.
Changes to logical register numbers of demand registers have effects on billing. For example, if you replace watt register with logical register number 1 with watt register with logical number 2 in the middle of the billing period, the demand from the two registers is not processed together during demand processing. The billing period is prorated and peak averages cannot be calculated together. However, if you change the logical register number of the second demand register from 2 to 1, peak averages are calculated together and the billing period is not prorated.
