Use
The supplement for the instruction key is used in Germany for foreign data medium exchange (field T20) if the additional instruction information cannot be determined from the master record.
When the Z1 form is printed, the information can be printed in the field 'Additional instructions for the bank'.
Use Austria
In Austria, the field contents are output when the foreign transfer form is printed.
Use Norway
In Norway, the additional text is used for foreign bank transfers via DME.
Use SWIFT MT formats
With SWIFT MT formats, the additional information on the instruction key is only used if it is necessary and the supplement cannot be determined from the master record. The information is then entered in field 72 after the code word for the instruction key.
