Definition
This indicator controls how the quantities are to be displayed in the planning table.
You have the following options for displaying the quantities:
- The complete production quantity is displayed at the finish date (order view).
- The number of periods is calculated and the quantities are distributed over the periods (distributed view)
- In a combined view, the distributed quantities are displayed in a separate row and the complete quantites is displayed on the finish date (order view / distributed view).
Use
If you work with larger planned orders or run schedule quantities, whose production time stretches over several periods, you can split the order quantities and display them in the planning table accordingly.
This is especially useful if, for example, you want to plan individual shifts.
If you do not use the quantity distribution function, the system only dipslays the complete order quantity once on the order finish date.
Dependencies
To dipslay the distributed quantities, you must set production dates in the initial screen and you must also set the parameters required for Customizing.
