Definition
This indicator controls how the derivation reacts to attributes that have already been filled in the receiving batch.
If you set this indicator to "Warning", the system issues a warning if the attribute being derived has already been filled with another value that is not blank in the receiving batch. But the system can still carry out the derivation. If it is carried out, the attribute is overwritten.
If you set the indicator to "Error", the system terminates the derivation process in this case, and issues an error log. If the derivation is static, it is saved in the terminated status and renders any valid older derivations invalid. The system does not transfer the contents of any attributes - not even those of other attributes for which no errors occurred.
