Documentation
Definition
Specifies the enterprise service activity for a business object.
Use
You can use the enterprise service repository (ESR) to model the business objects and service operations.
You define the assignment in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Master Data Governance -> General Settings -> Data Replication -> Enhance Default Settings for Outbound Implementations -> Define Service Operations Available for Replication.
Dependencies
Various outbound implementations may be available for a service operation with a fixed, defined interface. This assignment is stored in the definition of the outbound implementation.
Example
The ProductCategoryHierarchyERPReplicationRequest_Out service operation is available for the ProductCategoryHierarchy business object. A specific outbound implementation uses this service operation for transferring material group hierarchy data. A different outbound implementation could use the same service operation for the transfer of material hierarchy data.
