Documentation
Definition
Indicates whether the change analysis during data replication is be restricted by a time interval.
Use
Select this checkbox if you want to restrict the change analysis by a time interval.
You do not need to specify the time interval for the change-pointer selection. This is because the system either selects all unprocessed time pointers, or detects the time of the last processing and automatically determines the extent of the time intervals to be used.
For this reason, we recommend that you do not use this option.
If the number of change pointers to be processed becomes so large that it causes system memory problems, you can select this option to process the cumulated change pointers in several subsequent program runs.
However, you must ensure that the time intervals of the program runs do not overlap, in order to prevent losing changes.
