Definition
Specifies whether the version for which the details are displayed is an active version, in other words, a version that can be edited.
Use
Several versions of a warranty claim can exist within one category:
- There can usually only be one active version per category, in other words, only one version that can be edited. The system automatically defines the last (most recent) version as the active version. The other versions in the category are automatically deactivated during copying.
- In warranty processing with claim split, several versions can be active per category. For example, if the split criterion is the manufacturer/reimburser, one version can be active per category and per manufacturer/reimburser.
