Documentation
Definition
Controls whether the quantity to be posted must be correctly distributed across documentary batches.
Use
If you enter one documentary batch per document item, the entire quantity to be posted is assigned to this documentary batch.
If you enter multiple documentary batches per document item, the system can carry out a quantity check. If the quantity to be posted is not distributed correctly across documentary batches, the system issues a message.
You can define whether the user must distribute the quantity correctly:
- If you choose Quantity Check with Error, then the user must distribute the quantity across documentary batches and the system issues a message of the type error.
This means that the user cannot continue processing until he or she has distributed the quantity across documentary batches. - If you choose Quantity Check with Warning, then the system issues a message of the type warning.
This means that the user can continue processing, even if the quantity has not been correctly distributed. - If you choose No Quantity Check, then no quantity check takes place in the selected functions.
Dependencies
This settings can be overriden by using the Business Add-In (BAdI) Documentary Batch (VBDOCUBATCH).
