Documentation
Definition
Controls in which process steps documentary batches can be entered.
Use
If you use documentary batches, you can define in which process steps documentary batches should be entered.
You can set for the following process steps (functions) whether documentary batches must be entered or whether no entry is possible:
- Goods Receipt for External Procurement (01)
- Goods Receipt for Subcontracting (02)
- Goods Issue for Subcontracting (03)
- Goods Receipt from Production (04)
- Goods Receipt to Production (05)
- Picking Delivery to Customer (06)
You can only enter documentary batches if the material type also permits entry of documentary batches.
These settings can be overridden using the BAdI Documentary Batch (VBDOCUBATCH).
Dependencies
If you do not use documentary batches (Documentary Batches not Active) you cannot make any setting.
Only certain functions are supported (for example, goods receipts with the transaction MIGO).
For more information, see the SAP Library, under Documentary Batch in the component Batch Management (LO-BM).
