Clearly identifies Digital Mock-Up (DMU) tables in combination with other key fields.
- As an Instance Counter
With this counter, instances and segments from the DMU item object tables are incremented. Used as an instance counter (that is, as a counter of separate parts of an item with a quantity greater than 1), it identifies the item grid value of a single part in a quantity of parts in a BOM, or in an item variant in the product-variant structure.
- As a DMU Segment Counter
Used here, it identifies the historical status of a DMU object, and consequently of the matrix record in the product-variant structure. Together with the BOM, it is always 1, as an item is specified via change number for every historical status.
