Definition

Indicator controls that you want the given workstation application to act as a filter when displaying the original files.

Use

Dependencies

The workstation application that you enter in the profile is read by the system in the following processing situations:

  • Display document
  • Display product structure

Example

You enter the following workstation applications in pofile P-1 with the indicator For display:

  • WRD (Microsoft Word)
  • TIF (TIFF picture)

If a user with profile P-1 choses the function:

  • Display document then only the originals are displayed in the tab page document data and originals that were processed with both of these applications.
  • Display product structure only originals are displayed on the results screen for documents that were processed with both applications.
