Term for grouping markups according to their use.
Use
Markups are comments that you can create for the original application file of a document info record and save in a layer.
- Categories allow for easy processing of layers for the different enterprise areas. In this way the users have an good view of the working environment.
- Additonally you can have categories read during authorization assignment (Authorizations for Markups).
Dependencies
Example
When you create layers you assign users different comments for their enterprise area such as engineering, assembly, or sales and distirbution.
When processing the original application file you can enter a category (such as engineering) so that the users only receive the markups for processing that are appropriate for their working evironment
