Definition

Indicator controls that original files are automatically checked into a storage category when saving this status.

Use

This method saves you manually storing original files while processing the document info record. In this way you can store processiing statuses in a secure area.

Dependencies

You can select one fo the following storage areas: The systems uses the same secure areas as defaults when the original files have already been stored in a secure area.

If the original files have never been stored in a secure area you will see a dialog box where you must set the storage area.

If a default value exists for the storage area in the user-specific settings the system stores the original files in a storage category of a storage system.

You always receive the last saved status when you continue with processing.

Example

In the training area of your business you have defined in the storage system AR1 (Archive 1 from storage type HTTP content server) the storage category AR1-2 (course files).

When you would like to create course files and store the processing status in a secure area, you can set that these processing statuses are automatically stored in the storage category AR1-2 when a certain processing status is reached.
