Definition
This checkbox is used in Customizing and identifies a document type that is relevant to the PLM Web user interface.
Use
- If you do not select this checkbox:
- The system performs the standard authorization checks from SAP ERP.
- You are not authorized to assign documents to access control contexts (ACCs).
- You are not authorized to use access control lists (ACLs) that belong to access control management (ACM).
- If you select this checkbox:
- The system performs the standard authorization checks from SAP ERP and checks the access rights based on access control management, for example, the system takes the ACCs into account.
- You are authorized to assign documents to ACCs.
- You are authorized to use ACLs that belong to access control management for the PLM Web user interface for the selected document type. We recommend that you do not use the "old" ACL for this document type. You can enter the document type by means of the SAP GUI or SAP Easy Document Management.
