Definition
Wage Type for a group of the same cost distributions (cost distribution wage type)
Use
The cost distribution wage type (DISGP) serves as a reference for the distribution of liabilities.
In Customizing for Payroll, you can assign a cost distribution wage type to a liabilities wage type. Percentage shares for the distribution of this cost distribution wage type are stored in payroll table CODIST. The assignment of liabilities wage types to cost distribution wage types enables the percentage shares stored for the distribution of the liabilities wage type to be drawn upon.
With the cost distribution wage type, you can thus use existing distributions for different wage types and group the wage types for the distribution. You must not store the distribution separately for each wage type.
Dependencies
Example
Liabilities wage type: /559
Cost distribution wage type (DISGP): /101
You can set up the wage type /559 (Payment), so that it is distributed according to the settings in table CODIST for wage type /101 (Total Gross).
