Documentation
Definition
Key of a workstation application. Applications are defined in Customizing for Document Management and are assigned to the original application files via the document type. When you create original application files, you can assign various applications to the document info record, such as: JPG, PRO (Pro Engineer), and SWD (SolidWorks Drawings).
Use
The system searches for documents that match the search criteria specified in the upper screen area. By specifying the application in this field, you can search for document info records that are not assigned any original application files with that specific application.
Dependencies
Example
You enter the workstation application PRO (Pro Engineer) in the field All Documents Without Application and start the document search. In the search results, the system lists all the document info records that do not have any original application files with application PRO.
