Documentation
Use
If you select this field, the system checks in the background (upload of meter reading results, migration), whether the device is replaced when you enter meter reading results. If so, the system takes into account the device replacement and automatically allocates the meter reading result to the new device.
Dependencies
If you do not select this field, the system will not check for a device replacement each time you enter a result. A replacement is then only taken into account if the meter reader has entered note 05 (device replacement). If the meter reader has not entered this note and the meter reading result is still after the device replacement, the system will not be able to allocate the meter reading result and you will receive an error message.
Example
Scheduled MR date (order creation): 05.15
Device replacement: 05.17
Meter reading: 05.20
The meter reader finds a new device, however, his or her meter reading data applies to an old device. If this field is selected, the system recognizes the device replacement when the results are uploaded.
If this field is not selected, the meter reader must enter a note so that the device replacement is recognized.
