Definition
Indicates whether or not the cross-archiving-object delete program has been activated for an archiving object.
Use
The cross-archiving-object delete program affects all archiving objects marked with the indicator "X". To determine which archiving objects are still activated, it periodically reads the corresponding control table.
The preslection function module of the delete program selects all data objects with the status "archived" (I1101) or " deletable" (I1102), but which do not have the status "archivable" (I1100).
Note: To properly terminate a check program that is running in the background, you must deactivate all active archiving objects, by removing this indicator. However, it is not possible to set the indicator for an archiving object, during runtime.
