Definition
The number of offset days for restarting an item determines the restart deadline for an item by an FI incoming payment. The restart deadline for an item is calculated from the valid-to date of the item plus the offset days for restarting the item.
If an incoming payment is received in FI for a renewal-controlled IS-M/SD item that was already terminated because no incoming payment was received, the item is restarted but only if the posting date for the FI document is before the restart deadline. If this is not the case, a Workflow task is generated in IS-M/SD.
