Definition

The process for merchandise distribution is basically a combination of two technical fields: BARTV (processing method for distribution) and VERVF (distribution method for distribution).

The following process methods exist:

• WPA: Putaway
• WCD: Cross-Docking
• WCV: Cross-Docking with Prepicking (Prepacking)
• WCP: Cross-Docking/Putaway
• WCR: Recipient-Driven Cross-Docking/Flow-Through
• WCM: Merchandise-Driven Cross-Docking/Flow-Through
• WFR: Recipient-Driven Flow-Through
• WFM: Merchandise-Driven Flow-Through
