Documentation
Definition
Indicates that the outbound deliveries should not be created before the inbound deliveries.
This indicator is evaluated only if the adjustment and execution of the distribution takes place in the external Warehouse Management System (WMS) (see settings in the fields under Merchandise Distribution). However, this does not apply to cross-docking with prepacking: In this case, the system always waits for the inbound delivery.
Use
If adjustment and execution takes place in the external WMS, you can use the report Create Outbound Deliveries (Background) (transaction WF61) to create outbound deliveries as soon as the collection purchase orders or follow-on documents for the allocation table have been created.
If outbound deliveries are created only after the creation of inbound deliveries, the outbound deliveries are sent to the external WMS at a later date so that the system can incorporate any changes to the inbound delivery in the creation of outbound deliveries.
However, if you search the inbound delivery by generating the report Create Outbound Deliveries (Background) (transaction WF61), this requires additional runtime.
