Definition

Indicates whether outbound deliveries can be generated from the time when inbound deliveries are created. This setting is only valid:

• For cross-docking with prepacking
• If the partner role 'UC' in the inbound delivery is filled with the final recipient
• If adjustment of the distribution takes place in the ERP system and the execution in the external Warehouse Management System (WMS) (see also, Systems of Merchandise Distribution).

Use

In the case of cross-docking with prepacking, differences between the inbound delivery and the actual goods received are not generally expected. If you want to create the outbound deliveries before posting the goods received, the external WMS can receive, and react to, the outbound deliveries earlier.

Dependencies

This setting applies only if communication with the external WMS takes place via inbound deliveries.
