Use
The configuration process of a document is controlled by the configuration definition.
If you generate a Baseline from an assigned configuration folder, the processing status of a document is fixed, provided the following prerequisites are met:
- This document has been included in the structure of a configuration folder.

- The document type has been defined in such a way that the documents of this document type are relevant to Configuration Management.

- The document is assigned via a Document Status, for which the release flag is set.

Use
If you flag the material master record as relevant for Configuration Management, the system fixes the material master record as soon as the material is frozen in a Baseline.
Dependencies
When a material master record has been fixed, you can make no more changes to the fields defined as lock-relevant.
