Definition
This indicator controls the suitability of the explosion result of a baseline for product data distribution.
Use
If you set the indicator, then the profile for the creation of baselines is suitable for distribution. In this way the explosion result also includes objects that are not valid. In the environment of product data distribution this behavior is strongly recommended so that the deletion of an object is communicated to the target system. In addition to this you can maintain a date range that limits the analysis of object validity statuses (deletion information is always communicated to prevent data inconsistencies in the target system).
If you do not set the indicator, the explosion is carried out for the baseline date entered at creation or later. Only the statuses valid at this date are included. It is not possible to maintain a date range. This setting is required if the baseline is to visualize the status of a BOM. Deleted items are not visible.
