Definition
Read state of an ABAP/4 Dictionary object. This can have either the value 'A' or the value 'M'. Read state 'A' means that only the active version of the object to be read should be taken into consideration when reading. Read state 'M' means that the latest version of the object to be read should be determined when reading.
In some cases, expert mode ' ' is also permitted. It normally behaves the same as 'M'.
