Both a reference field and a reference table must be specified for fields of types CURR and QUAN. These are then used for determining the currency or measurement unit used with the field. A check is made for all fields with these types to ensure that reference field and reference table have been entered. (However, no check is made to see whether these entries are meaningful.)
