Definition
Total amount of the line items to be split in transaction currency.
If the items to be split have different amounts, when you carry out the split, you can only specify a percentage, since each line item is split individually.
Example:
Items for 100 USD and 130 USD are to be split. The total amount is 230 USD. The split key specifies 40%/60%. The 100 USD are split into 40 USD and 60 USD, the 130 USD are split into 52 USD and 78 USD.
