Definition
This parameter sets the limit to the maximum degree of parallelism with which a query can be executed. SAP systems control the query parallelism usage internally, within the applications and can turn it on/off dynamically (on a statement level). We recommend to limit the maximum degree of query parallelism to the number of available CPUs.
