Definition

The setting you make in this field influences the system behavior with regard to the destination of the data entered in the Internet.

The following values are possible:

  1. Store all data in the interim table: this setting allows you to prevent data from the Internet being transferred directly to the order and business partner tables. Instead, the data is stored in interim tables. All entries from the Internet must be postprocessed manually.
  2. Duplicates and errored data in the interim table: if the system identifies a duplicate during checks, indicating that the business partner may already exist in the system, the corresponding data is stored in the interim table for postprocessing. Errored data is also stored in the interim table. Orders and business partners are created immediately for the correct data.
  3. Errored data to the interim table. If you make this setting, only errored data is placed in the interim table. A duplicate check is not performed, i.e. the system always creates a new business partner. Orders and business partners are created immediately for the correct data.
  4. Reject duplicates and errored data. If a duplicate or an error is identified, the data is not accepted. Orders and business partners are created immediately for unique and correct data. This means no data is transferred to the interim table.
  5. Reject errored data. Duplicates are stored in the interim table; orders and business partners are created immediately for unique and correct data.

Errored data means data for which the preliminary checks were run without errors and for which it is nonetheless impossible to create a business partner or an order.
