Definition

The action you select defines how the system processes the chosen wage types.

Procedure

  • Copying wage types:

When you copy wage types (Create only), the model wage types you have selected (Wage type(s) to be copied ) are converted to the new customizing wage types and recreated. The customizing wage types comprise those specified in New wage type range.

If the function part of the table contains the model wage type, this wage type is converted to the customizing wage type. In tables in which the wage type is in the key, only those entries within the reserved customer range are converted; in tables in which the wage type is not in the key, all entries are converted.

If the table already contains the new customizing wage type, the table entry is not changed (overwritten).

Example

  1. Entries in the parameters:
Wage type(s) to be copied M000 to M999
    New wage type range 1
    The system copies the wage types M001 - M0101, M020, M300 - M3999 and to the new wage types 1001 - 1010, 1020, 1300 - 1399.
  2. Entries in the parameters:
Wage types(s) to be copied M000 to M999
    New wage type range 12
The system rejects this entry because duplicate entries may result when the new wage types are created.

  • Deleting wage types:

The selected wage types (Wage type(s) to be deleted) are deleted. If the table key contains the wage type, the complete entry is deleted.

If the function part of the table contains the wage type, only this wage type is deleted. In tables in which the wage type is in the key, only those entries within the reserved customer range are converted; in tables in which the wage type is not in the key, all entries are converted.
