Documentation
Definition
This key identifies a partial order.
Use
A partial order contains information on which document is to be sent to which recipient (1:1 link).
Additional attributes (such as medium, distribution type, type of copy) are managed in a partial order.
Dependencies
Once the distribution process has been initiated (manually or by an SAP Business Workflow event), the system automatically creates a distribution order.
- A distribution order can contain several initial orders. This is the case if, for example, initial orders were created with status AS (asynchronous) and distribution is started at a later point in time.
- A distribution order contains several partial orders. A partial order describes the link between a recipient and a document (1:1 link).
- The distribution process is controlled by SAP Business Workflow. When processing a distribution order, the system creates a distribution package for each recipient, for each distribution type.
- A sub-workflow for process the package is started for each distribution package.
Once all packages have been processed successfully, the distribution order is closed.
