Definition
Enables the generation of a subtree of production data structures
Use
When you set this indicator, lower-level production data structures are transferred, starting from the specified material. The subtrees are only exploded in the area of existing order or WBS BOM structures. As soon as no order or WBS BOM is found for a material, the explosion of this branch is terminated. Lower-level order or WBS BOMs that are not contained in the order or WBS BOM structure are not entered.
If you set this indicator and do not specify a material and plant for the selection, a topdown generation occurs for order BOMs starting with the sales order material. Free assemblies are not taken into account. This function cannot be used for WBS BOMs.
If you do not set this indicator, only the production data structure of the material specified is transferred. If other lower-level order or WBS BOMs are contained in the BOM, these are not exploded further.
