Definition

Depending on the definition of the RFC interface, one of the following values can be accepted:

  • Default: ABAP RFC
  • H: Best possible connection type, depending on communication priority (ABAP RFC or TCP/IP connection using agent)
  • D: Connection type for dialog
  • A: Connection exclusively through agent (TCP/IP connection)
  • N: Connection never through agent (TCP/IP connection)

The communication type in the technical topology is specified either asABAP RFC or as TCP/IP connection to Agent, as the connection type for dialogs is not possible for monitored systems or segments.
