Definition
The technical key is the internal ID of a business object for a business scenario. Examples of business objects are an order or a transaction item. The technical key is also unique when objects have been archived and their business key has been reused. The technical key is typically a globally unique identifier (GUID). However, it must only remain unique within a business scenario throughout the lifetime of a business object.
