Use

This indicator activates the runtime measurement function. Runtime measure provides information about the relative runtime, as does the standard runtime analysis (transaction SE30). It also provides technical data (for example, the server that is used and the number of orders (tasks) that have been processed).

You can use the runtime measurement function as follows:

  • Display the runtime measurement analysis in transaction WTRA3
  • Maintain Customizing in transaction WTRA1 (view V_TWTRAS)

In Customizing, set an archiving indicator thereby flagging the runtime measurement logs as relevant for archiving. The data for this is maintained in V_TWTRAS which is not integrated in the IMG.

You can consult the archiving indicator for the logs in the deletion program. If you do not make any specific settings (thereby using the defaulted settings), the logs are not archived. They are therefore only retained until the deletion program is triggered.

  • Log data is deleted with transaction WTRA2.

Temporary data should be deleted at regular intervals.

Prerequisites

  • Create a new number range (number range object WTRA_LOGNR).
  • Each user must have the correct authorization (authorization object W_WTRA_LOG) to be able to delete data.
