Definition
Filters the display of the function trees in accordance with the specified template application. Template applications are applications that are supported by the Template (such as cost objects/costing, profitability analysis, or formula planning). They contain environments that are of a similar type.
Use
Dependencies
When functions are created in subenvironments, the selected template application determines which item categories, columns, and column types are available to you.
Example
Filter Display
If you enter "CPI" in the Template Application field and don't enter any other filter criteria, the left side of the screen only displays the environments and subenvironments that are part of the template application Formula Planning for Business Processes/Cost Centers.
Create Functions
You create a function in subenvironment 101. Depending on the selected Template application, different column and row types are available, such as the following:
