Definition

Key that defines the status of a correspondence.

Use

In the correspondence history, you can assign a status to a correspondence entry. To do this, place the cursor on an entry and choose Change Status of Correspondence.

Via the status of a correspondence, you can activate or deactivate the processing functions for this correspondence.

Example

You assign the status Not to be dunned to an entry in the correspondence history. In Customizing, you can define for this correspondence status that no correspondence dunning notices are to be created.

Effects on Customizing

In Customizing, you can also define the correspondence status and its influence on processing. (See Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable IMG Basic Functions -> Correspondence -> Define Status for Correspondence)
