Definition

Address type chosen during the address determination of the correspondence recipient.

Use

You can define several addresses for abusiness partner.

You assign each of the addresses defined an address type.

In Customizing you can define for each correspondence type the address type to be used during the address determination of the correspondence recipient.

If there is no address type defined for the correspondence type, the standard address for the recipient is used.

Example

If the correspondence type 'dunning' has been defined for the business partner, it should always be sent to the dunning address.

To enable this, enter the address type 'dunning address' in the Customizing for correspondence types.
