Definition
This correlation coefficient relates to database checkpoint activity. No database activity is interpeted by the value equal to 100 percent. The more active the database the lower the percentage becomes. This may not be true in the case where the sizes of the logical and physical logs are very large and only the checkpoint interval triggers the checkpoint. The checkpoint correlation will always be weighted twords 100 percent in this case.
This correlation coefficient should be used in conjunction with the "RESET"/"SINCE RESET" buttons to monitor system activity within a predetermined time period.
