If you do not set the indicator, there is no link to CO-PA.

Requirements

You have made the required settings in the IMG structure for Collections/Disbursements -> Integration -> Controlling -> Maintain Characteristic Assignment for Profitability Analysis.

You have made the necessary settings in the Implementation Guide for CO-PA.
