Definition
If you set this indicator then the system creates an archive using the selection criteria and other program parameters. However, the archived data is not deleted from the database.
You can use the archiving deletion program to later delete the data in the archive that you created.
Procedure for System Administration
The deletion program processes the archive data even if this indicator is set. However, the test run variant is used for this, which is specified in Customizing for Archiving Objects under Technical Settings.
