Documentation
Definition
Temporary directory on the conversion server.
This directory must exist on the conversion server or be created with the correct syntax.
Use
The following files are stored in the directory:
- Files you want to convert
- Converted files that you want to transport into the SAP system
When several conversions occur simultaneously each conversion must have a unique directory defined for it. The system therefore creates subdirectories for each conversion in the given directory.
Dependencies
You must complete the path name with the character \ otherwise the last part of the path name will be interpreted as the prefix of the file name.
The files and directories can be deleted automatically after conversion if you set the following fields to the value X (always delete):
Example
On a Windows NT computer you enter the directory C:\temp\ and the system creates the following subdirectories:
- C:\temp\conversion_id\in\ for the unconverted files
- C:\temp\conversion_id\out\ for the converted files
