Definition

Number of days before the application log is deleted.

Procedure

Enter the number of days the application log exists after the date it wax created.

Dependencies

The expiration date is calculated in the following way:

Date created + Number of days you entered

The transaction SLG2 can be used to delete the application log by hand: Delete expired logs.

  • You can delete any logs that are passed their expiration date. haben.
  • You can also delete logs before their expiration date. You must select in the Expiration date data group the following setting: Also logs that can be deleted before the expiration date is allowed.

Notes

A log has no expiration date when you do not enter a value here.
In some cases an error may occur when the expiration date is calculated in the following way:

Date created + 31 days
