Definition
There are three different classes of contracts available:
No value Standard contract. Only the sold-to customer can call-off
against the contract.
'A' Enterprise contract. An enterprise contract specifies
which contracts can be used for call-offs via a customer
hierarchy search. The customer hierarchy functionality is
used to determine the pool of customers that are allowed
to reference (or call-off) from this contract. Any customer
at the same level in the customer hierarchy node or below
as the specified sold-to party is eligible to call-off
against this contract.
'B' Named list of accounts contract. There is a list of customers
assigned to the contract via the partner functions. The
documents belonging to the members of this list can be used
to search for open contracts.
To make use of a named list of accounts contract, the
partner functions must include the 'CL' (customer list)
parameter, and the contract type must be set to 'B'. A
customer is only eligible to call-off from a named list
of accounts contract if the customer appears as a member
of the list attached to the contract.
