Definition

Activate conversion exit to convert the manufacturer part number and manufacturer code to the system-specific material number and vice versa.

With conversion exit activated

• you can enter a material either by its system-specific material number or by its manufacturer part number, perhaps supplemented by the manufacturer code.
• the system displays materials with their manufacturer part number instead of their material number in lists and screens.
