Internet mail address, also known as e-mail address.
Example: user.name@company.com
The Internet mail address is used to send mails throughout the world over the Internet. The protocol used is SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).
The format of the Internet mail address is specified in different RFCs (Internet Request for Comment), for example in the RFCs 821 and 822.
This field has nothing to do with an IP address (192.56.30.6).
