Definition

Account assignment object that is used, together with the company code and business area, to derive the required account assignment for the cost accounting.

Use

This account assignment object can be used to determine the following fields of the cost accounting:

• Cost center
• Profit center
• Order
• Project (work breakdown structure element)
• Account assignment to profitability analysis object (CO-PA)
  

In the CO account assignment key, you can define whether an assignment to a profitability segment (CO-PA) is determined according to consumption months.

The profitability segment (according to posting date and consumption months) can currently only be determined for postings that are based on the billing document.
